George Hotz is a well-known hacker in the industry,His most notable achievement was unlocking Apple's iPhone in 2007To support non-AT&T GSM networks.

Hotz then traded the hacked iPhone for a Nissan-350Z sports car and three unhacked iphones.

Hotz, whose previous pioneering work on Comma.ai's self-driving car technology, is now focusing his innovative abilities on artificial intelligence (AI) computing.

Tiny Corp's mission is to challenge the dominance of large entities in AI computing by commoditizing petaflop and making high-performance computing more accessible and less burdensome.

The company's first project was to develop a new software framework, runtime and drivers, for AMD chips.

Hotz believes AMD chips are not fully capable of machine learning (ML) because they are not supported by software.

Tiny Corp's short-term goal is to get AMD on the MLPerf list, the benchmark running platform for ML models, using tinygrad, the company's own framework.
