According to Jingjiawei's announcement,The company intends to raise a total of 4.2 billion yuan from no more than 35 specific parties,And no more than 30% of the total shares of the company before the issuance shall be invested in high-performance general GPU chip R&D and industrialization projects as well as the construction of general GPU advanced architecture R&D center.
The raised funds are mainly used in two parts, among which the research and development and industrialization of high-performance general purpose GPU chips are organized and implemented by Changsha Jingmei Integrated Circuit Design Co., LTD., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jingjiawei.
The total investment amount of this plan is 3.78 billion yuan, of which 3.26 billion yuan is raised for the purpose of independently developing high-performance GPU chips for graphics processing and computing applications.To achieve supporting applications in large games, professional graphics rendering, data center, artificial intelligence, autonomous driving and other fields.
The construction project of GPU advanced architecture research and development center was entrusted to Wuxi Jinzhiyuan Electronic Technology Co., LTD., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jingjiawei, with a total investment of 964 million yuan, including 945 million yuan of raised funds.
The plan is to establish a forward-thinking technology research and development center to meet the future needs of high performance computing and data processing.
