It House, June 21 (Xinhua)-- Ali Farhadi, Apple's key figure in machine learning, has announced his resignation to become the CEO of the Allen Institute of artificial Intelligence (Allen Institute of Artificial Intelligence,AI2).
Ali Fahadi founded Xnor.ai startup before joining Apple, which was acquired by Apple for $200 million in 2020, and then joined Apple to work in charge of machine learning research.
Note: the Allen artificial Intelligence Institute was founded in 2014 by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen (Paul Allen). Its goal is to develop high-impact artificial intelligence and engineering for the common good of mankind.
Xnor.ai was originally separated from AI2's startup incubator and was acquired by Apple in 2020, so Ali Fahadi can be said to be back this time.
