AIDA64, an authoritative hardware identification and testing tool, today released the latest version 6.90. the most special thing is that it has added support for AMD Zen5 architecture.
According to the update logAIDA64 version 6.90 initially supports and optimizes the 64-bit multithreaded AVX2 and AVX-512 instruction set performance testing of AMD Zen5 Desktop Auron and Server Xiaolong processors, as well as information detection of supporting chipsets and integrated memory controllers.
The Zen5 architecture is code-named Granite Rdige on the desktop. It is reported that the maximum is 16 cores and 32 threads, and the second and third levels of cache remain unchanged. The first level cache is increased to 80KB, the maximum acceleration frequency is expected to be 5.8-6.0GHz, and the hot design power consumption is maintained at 170W. Combined with a maximum of 19% IPC improvement, performance is expected.
Notebooks include mainstream Strix Point, up to 12 CPU cores, 16 groups of CU GPU units, thermal design power consumption of 28-54W, and high-end Strix Halo (Starlak), up to 16 CPU cores, 40 groups of CU GPU units, thermal design power consumption of 55W, both are Zen5, Zen5c size core architecture.

meanwhile, AIDA64 6.90 also improves support for mega core Kaisheng KH-40000 series processors (codenamed Yongfeng).
The processor is 16nm process, new micro-architecture, compatible with x86 instruction set, up to 32 cores, 2.2GHz frequency, 64MB three-level cache, memory support 2TB DDR4-3200, extension support 128channel PCIe 3.0, and SM2/SM3/SM4 national secret algorithm.
In other aspects, the new version improves the support for future processors such as Intel Meteor Lake, Arrow Lake, Lunar Lake, etc. The graphics card supports RX 7600, RX 7600m XT, RX 6550m, RX 6450M, Radeon Pro W7800, Radeon Pro W7900, RTX 4070, RTX 4060 Ti, RTX 4060, H800, RTX 4000 Ada, RTX A1000 6GB.
