IT Home September 26 news, Emirates Telecom recently announced that the 400G@Super C+L transmission network trial carried out in cooperation with Huawei has been successfully completed. Traditional extended C-band solutions only support 4.8 THz of spectrum resources, while Etisalat's Super C+L solution, trialled in partnership with Huawei, is capable of supporting 12 THz of spectrum resources.
IT House noted that Huawei has previously launched Super 200G / 400G / 800G and Super C+L band solutions. Both solutions reduce cost per bit and power consumption while increasing single-wave rate and single-fiber capacity.It is designed to double the capacity under the same transmission distance and achieve a single fiber 100T。
In 400G transmission at 100GHz channel interval, commercial ultra-long distance transmission of more than 1200 km can be achieved based on G.652 fiber (no Raman signal), which is 20% longer than the industry average.
Huawei's large-scale commercial Super C band solution expands the available spectrum by 25 percent compared to the traditional C-band. The C+L band is the main development direction to increase the available spectrum of single fiber.
