In other words, since the release of the internal memo on Sept. 30, the first-generation Apple Watch has no access to maintenance or other services in the Apple Store and authorized service providers.

The memo lists all the watch models included in the rdquo; list of ldquo; outdated products, including the gold version of the Apple Watch Edition (which sold for as much as $17000 at the time) and the Hermes version.

The gold bespoke version uses an 18-carat gold case and is replaced by the later more popular ceramic version of Apple Watch Edition ($1299, about RMB 9483).

In addition, all 38mm and 42mm aluminum and stainless steel versions are also included in the & ldquo; outdated product & rdquo; list.

And Apple stopped being compatible and updated with the first generation of Apple Watch in WatchOS 5 in 2018.

Considering that the first generation of Apple Watch was released in 2015, stopped production in 2016, and has been launched for seven years this year, it is not surprising to be listed as an outdated product of ldquo; & rdquo;.
